The Congregation of the sisters of charity is a religious congregation founded in 1944 by the servant of god Fr.Augustine John Ukken. He inspired us to do the service to uplift the poor and the disabled with compassionate love of Jesus.
Anand training Centre is working under the Anand Training Charitable Society.There are 163 Mentally Challenged children. Principal(Sr.Finishia)16 special educators,5 doctors and 13 non teaching staff are there in the school and hostel. This training centre has Physio therapy unit, Speech therapy training, Ocupational therapy, Guidance and counseling, medical doctor, facilities for sports & games, Music & Dance, Drawing and painting, Art & Craft, Yoga, etc. We provide education, Training for ADL as well as vocational works such as envelope Making, Candle Making, Tailoring, Paper plate Making, Screen Printing, Phenyle & Hand wash Making, Design Works etc. We have 80G certificate to receive contributions/donations from public.
35 inmates are in the hostel of Anand Bhavan which comes under Anand Training Centre. The hostel facility is only for the Mild and Boarderline Children those who come under the age of 8-11 for boys and 8-18 for girls. Here they get training for Bed making, House Keeping, Gardening, Washing, Cooking etc.
